About this race:
Shine’s Little Stars programme supports children aged 0-12 years old with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as their parents and carers.
Using the knowledge and expertise of our specialist health, education, and welfare teams, we offer proactive support throughout children's lives helping them to Improve knowledge and management of their conditions.
The balloon race will be launching on 6th January from the Kielder Observatory in Northumberland. The observatory is in one of the locations in the UK which has the least amount of intrusive light pollution. Allowing little stars to be seen all year.
