Race Starting In
Sponsored by:
About this race:
Whilst some individuals living with Spina Bifida and or Hydrocephalus have extremely complex health needs and cannot live independently often living with their parents, other members living with the same conditions live independent lives, we encourage all our community to get active.
From simple movement and gentle exercise to sports such as running. Members of the shine community have taken part in the London Marathon and Paralympic events such as equestrian and basked ball.
We know how important it is to ensure our members have access to the tools, resources, and support networks they want (and need) to develop confidence in taking the steps to realise their ambitions and remain active be it physically or with the decisions they make everyday.
By entering the balloon race on the 3rd August, you are helping to ensure we can continue to be there for all of the Spina bifida and Hydrocephalus community.
Thank you for your support
